Charcoal on paper, 100-page book

Diary is a 100-page notebook filled with charcoal drawings of the sky. Produced between 2024 and 2025, the work does not follow a fixed daily rhythm: two drawings may be separated by minutes or by weeks, without this interval being visible in the book. The sequence therefore records neither chronology nor event, but the passage of an abstract time made perceptible through repetition, accumulation and subtle variations of light and density. Related to L’Essentiel, the work shifts the observation of the sky into the intimate and sequential form of the book, opening another way of considering how duration may be accumulated without being measured.
